About Ross

Ross Farley is a drummer and drum tutor based in Ipswich.

Ross studied Popular Music Performance at Drumtech in London and Music Education at ATM in Norwich.

He has played concerts and festivals throughout the UK, Europe & the USA. Including playing the internationally renowned SXSW music festival in Texas on two occasions. As a member of various bands, he has supported well-known acts including Florence & The Machine, The Hoosiers, Neon Trees, The Futureheads and Dirty Pretty Things. He was also a member of the first fully amplified band to play a gig in the Houses Of Parliament.

Ross has writing and performing credits on three albums, and has had music played on BBC Radio 1 and 6 Music. He’s co-written music used in campaigns by brands including Karen Millen, Investec Bank and River Island.

Ross is one of Suffolk’s most in-demand drum tutors and has a reputation for high-quality tuition and mentorship. He teaches 1-to-1 drum lessons at South Street Studios in Ipswich and Colchester High School.

Most of the Angry Vs The Bear tracks were co-produced & mixed by Simon Gogerly (U2, Gwen Stefani, Paloma Faith) between 2008-2013. On it's release in 2010 'Show Emotion' was picked by BBC Radio 1 DJ Huw Stephens as his Record Of The Week.

The Death By Lasers tracks were recorded and mixed by George Perks at Punch Studios and mastered by Andy 'Hippy' Baldwin at Metropolis in 2015.
